1969 Plymouth Barracuda - Pictures taken in July 2009

Finally completed after a 6 year re-build!

This set of pictures shows the 1969 Cuda just after it passed registration last summer after a six year rebuild.

The car was stripped, sandblasted and taken back to component parts - most components were replaced with new items. The engine was replaced with a MP Magnum 360ci 380HP crate motor which was purchased back in 2003 from Hawaii Racing in Simi Valley California just after the car had been delivered to us. Currently a new transmission and limited slip differential for the 8 3/4 rear axle are on order from Mancini racing - Moser half shafts have already been fitted. Manual disc brakes have been fitted all round. Fuel tank, seats and seatbelts are all JAZ products.

The car ran an easy 14.2 quarter mile at Santa Pod shortly after registration but the original 904 transmission and 3:23 rear both suffered during the run hence the replacement parts on order.
